Year 1 Summer term w/c 8th June

Date: 10th Jun 2020 @ 3:19pm

Hello everyone,

I hope everyone has been having some fun in the better weather and maybe put on their wellies to splash in the puddles on the wetter days.

I have been in school this week preparing for when we can finally be together again. It was very strange being in our classroom without you. Our classroom doesn't quite look the same but there are still many fun activities ready for you to explore. Can you imagine, that there are lots of yellow poppies growing around the playground? See if you can look for flowers in unusual places and maybe learn their names too.

This half term's learning is centred around our last two Science topics: how the season's change and growing plants. Maybe you can talk about these topics when you go outside? Then draw pictures and write about what you saw. Please look at the home learning section on the class page for further activities for English, Maths and RE.

Keep remembering to follow the rules to keep you and your family safe, especially as we can now go out more and see others. Keep your distance, wash your hands and share air high 5s or air hugs!

Be safe and God bless,
Mrs Kinder
