Welcome to Year 3/4


This half-term  the staff working in Year 3 are Mrs Withnall, Miss Anderson and Mr Baylis. 

This week we have celebrated St David's Day, Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday. The children wrote Lenten promises linked to our Gospel Values in school. We look forward to preapring for Easter this half-term.

This half-term our topics will be: 

RE: Celebrating the Mass

English: Class author (Dick King-Smith) report, Dinosaur Trouble by Dick King-Smith

Maths: Money, Measuring and Perimetre

Science: Year 3: What Plants need   Year 4: Danger to Living Things

Geography: 'Are we still part of Europe?'

Music: Ukulele

Key dates:

Homework- Handed out on a Monday-due back on Friday.

P.E-Monday-Indoor Wednesday-Outdoor

Reading- We will be doing E.R.I.C time (Everybody reading in class) every day, so please remember your reading book and reading record.
