Curriculum for 2020/21
Like all schools, and indeed like almost all organisations and families worldwide, we have been affected by the global pandemic.
This page contains many useful documents that show how we have planned and adjusted our curriculum in light of these events. This temporary curriculum for 2020/21 ensures that all children are taught every one of the statutory ideas, topics and genres that they need to learn about during their primary school journey.
There are curriculum mapping grids for each Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 class, which can be found at the bottom of this page. These show the topics for each half term. There is also an overview for Reception class.
There are also similar curriculum mapping grids, which are organised by subject instead. These can be found here.
Of course, there has been another national lockdown in 2021 so we will complete another cycle of planning and adjusting the curriculum this summer to ensure that all of the key ideas, topics or genres that could not be covered this year, can instead be covered in a future year.
We will be revamping our website pages for the 2021/22 curriculum so that we can share even more information with you about our curriculum, our new approach to that curriculum and our dedicated subject leaders.
