British Science week

Date: 19th Mar 2022 @ 11:57am

British Science week was celebrated throughout the school during the last week.

As Science lead for the school I have popped in to many lessons and have been talking to the children about their learning.

There was a real buzz and excitement in the classes, especially when they were conducting experiments. The children were all learning about famous scientists and also had the opportunity to think about jobs that included science and what scientists may do in their jobs.

I asked all teachers to nominate 2 children from each year group for a Science award and I am proud to announce that the following children were chosen for their work in Science.

Reception - Brooke & Frankie

Year 1 - Anurag & Talea

Year 2 - Akiel & Alesha

Year 3 - Kimberley & Ethan

Year 4 - Bethany & Lilly

Year 5 - Dexter & Favour

Year 6 - Lilly-May & Gabriel

Congratulations to all of the children chosen for the awards.
