End of half term

Date: 23rd Oct 2021 @ 9:12am

Hello

We have reached the end of the first half term. The children are settling in to school life brilliantly. It really pleases me that they are growing in confidence and loving their time in school. So many friendships have been made, so many things have been talked about,  so many songs sung and opportunities to learn.
I have sent home a very simple reading activity for the children to complete with you. There are three 'Tricky words' - I, the & to. Please use the sheet to cut out the words and use them as matching cards, flash cards or however you wish to help your child to learn the word by sight, so that when they see it in a book, they know it instantly. There is also a video on my class webpage to help with learning the tricky words.
I hope that you have a lovely half term with your child. I know that many families have had challenges with illness throughout the half term. Please read the health sheet that was sent out to all families in Stockport. I hope to see you all safe and well on Monday 1st November to start the next half term.

Take care

Mrs Buckley
