Spring 2 - end of week 6

Date: 2nd Apr 2022 @ 9:29am

Last week we experienced many types of weather and lots of learning.

We are now preparing for Easter and learning about the Easter story. We talked about the number 3 and how it relates to God the Father, Jesus the Son & The Holy Spirit. I was so impressed with the children's listening and they had great questions.

The children learnt about the life cycle of a frog and they all made their own book. Their writing progress is amazing from when they started school.

In Maths we are thinking about the many ways we can make ten using two numbers. We are also trying to recognise number patterns, such as the patterns on dice and dominoes.

Next week we will be preparing more for Easter. We will be acting out the story of Palm Sunday.

Please remember to read with your child this weekend and sign their yellow book.

As mentioned in many previous blogs, reading is SO important and being prepared for school each day will help your child.

Have a lovely weekend
