Spring 2- end of week 7

Date: 9th Apr 2022 @ 8:10am

The last week we have been in preparation for Easter. We talked about Jesus arriving in Jerusalem in a donkey in Palm Sunday, this is the feast we will celebrate this Sunday.

The children have been thinking about Spring and how the weather is changing. We have learnt about the life cycles of frogs, caterpillars and how seeds grow. The children all made books to show their knowledge. In the outside learning garden Mrs Wilkins made wild flower seed bombs with the children, which they will plant out next week.

As you will be aware Mrs Spinks I leaving St Joseph's next week, we have been learning a version of So Long, Farewell from The Sound of Music to perform at an assembly. The children have loved watching clips of the songs and others from the film.

The last for days of school are in Holy Week. We will learn all about what happened to Jesus and think what Easter is all about.

Have a lovely weekend
