Welcome to the new school year

Date: 9th Sep 2019 @ 6:10pm

Hello Parents, Carers and staff,

Welcome back to the new school year. It's been lovely having a summer break, but now it's time to start planing for the eventful term!

On Friday 27th September we will be holding a Macmillan Coffee Morning in the parish hall. All are invited, we will send out more details soon.

In October we will be hosting a  family night. This is a social evening event held in the Parish hall for famlies to come along and enjoy music, stand up bingo, childrens karaoke, licensed bar, food and more. Details to follow.

In December we have asked Santa if he would like to come back to our school for tea again, thankfully he has agreed. This is very popular event with the children who get to hear a Christmas story read by Santa, followed by a present and craft making.

Our first meeting is 17th September straight after school and children are welcome to attend with parents.

We are always looking for new ideas, volunteers and any help you can spare. People think that we need alot of time to help, but there are lots of different ways to support us.

An hour on the day of a large event like such as the school fairs to help label tombola prizes or wrap gifts, help running a stall during one of the fairs. Making hotdogs in the hall kitchen, tidying after the event. And dont worry if you cant make the events, you can still help by donating any unwanted gifts for tombola prizes, we also hold dress down days for the children and they donate a bottle or chocolate for the tombolas.

We will update the blog after the first meeting, and we hope to see you there.
