Spring 2- End of week 3

Date: 11th Mar 2022 @ 7:15pm

I know that I say it a lot - but this week has flown by!

We have started to enjoy the outdoor learning area more this week. The sun has been shining and the children have been keen to be outside.

We we're enjoying the weather so much today that the reading books were not changed. Sorry! We will collect them all in on a Monday and swap them. Please read again over the weekend and sign to let me know how your child has done at home.

In RE this week we learnt about Zacchaeus. The story tells how Zacchaeus, who was a tax collector, was not popular and how he was cheating people out of their money. When Jesus came to his home town, Zacchaeus wanted to meet him, but he was too small to see Jesus and so he climbed a tree. Jesus spoke to Zacchaeus and he changed his ways. He became kind and paid back what he had taken. We talked about being kind and following Jesus.

Next week is British Science week. We will be focussing on the theme of Growth.

We have two saints days next week. On Thursday 17th we will celebrate St Patrick's day and children can come to school in green. Please see the email sent out this week.
On Friday we will celebrate St Joseph's day. This will be a non uniform day and the £1 donations will be sent to a charity helping Ukrainian people.

Have a lovely weekend
