Summer 1- end of week 1

Date: 30th Apr 2022 @ 7:35am

Hello

I hope that you all had a lovely Easter break. The first week has only been short but so much learning and fun have taken place.

We started the week celebrating that Jesus is risen. We talked about the Easter story again and made posters for our classroom.

Our new topic is Space. This week I have been finding out what information the children already know about the topic. We will spend the rest of the half term making, learning and playing using the space theme.

The children have all been reassessed in phonics and will start in their new groups on Tuesday. They continue to impress me in their lessons and are showing a love of reading.

As always I wish to stress the importance of reading at home. Please return the reading books on Tuesday and ensure that your child has their bag and all they need each day for school.

This term we will be focussing on outdoor games in PE. Please also ensure that your child has their PE kit in school so that they can be changed for the lessons. PE kits should be a white t-shirt and black shirts with black pumps.

Have a lovely bank holiday weekend.
