Year 1 Summer term w/c 27th April

Date: 27th Apr 2020 @ 11:34am

Good morning Year One families,

I hope you've had a good week and have managed to enjoy some of the sun in your garden or during your daily exercise.

While it is still dry, why not have a go at making some boats from different materials (paper, lollipop sticks, playdough or aluminium foil?) See which ones float or sink in a bowl (inside or outside.) You could also try adding coins or lego bricks to see how many your boat can hold before it sinks or capsizes.

Please have a look at the home learning page for some new Maths and Geography activities. Remember that BBC Bitesize Daily is a fantastic way of learning, just by watching TV! Do any other grown ups remember how exciting it was for the big TV to be wheeled into your classroom?

Do you need to try some new reading books on Oxford Owl?    https://www.oxfordowl.co.uk Username: year1sjcps Password: Yearone

Wishing you all a safe week. Remember to use your kind words and hands and give a great big St Joseph's smile to cheer yourself up when you need to.

God Bless,

Mrs Kinder
